Help for Cancer Patient : A prominent journalist friend of North East Region

Shri Kishore Kirat, News correspondent of Purvanchal Prahari, a Hindi daily and accredited journalist by the IPR, Government of Meghalaya is suffering from Cancer and Tuberculosis. He is presently under treatment at CMC, Vellore. He is there since September 2006. He has requested all the media organizations including Press Club of Sikkim, Press Club of India and Press Club of Chandigarh, charitable trust and others to come forward to contribute liberally. Himgiri Prakashan, Gangtok too has set up a Journalists' welfare fund for the cause of treatment to the cancer patient, shri Kishore Kirat. Any well wishers can send their contribution directly to the bank account of Mr. Kishore Kirat at UTI Bank or Journalist Welfare Fund, Himgiri Prakashan, Tadong, P.O. Tadong, Gangtok, Sikkim. The name of the contributors will appear in popular newspapers and magazine of NE region.We profusely thank to Shri C.D.Rai, President, Press Club of Sikkim for contributing Rs. 5,000=00 amount for this cause and assured to collect more.
