Sikkim Government bans import of poultry chicken after report of bird flue
The mysterious death of some six thousand chickens at a poultry farm near Siliguri caused to ban all the import of poultry chicken and eggs in Sikkim. It is suspected that the death of chicken within no times was due to bird blue. Animal Husbandry Department has issued a notification for the ban for time being.
