KOLKATA, Oct. 27: In the Vinoo Mankad Trophy (under–19 one dayers), Bengal beat Jharkhand by 5 wickets. Writom Porel top scored with 90 for Bengal. Kamal Gope of Jharkhand scored for his side with 58 runs. Jharkhand set a target of 231 in 50 overs, which Bengal achieved with four balls to spare.
In another match, Sikkim beat Tripura by 62 runs. In reply to Sikkim’s 286, Tripura managed to score 224.
