How to Remove Write Protection On USB Pen Drive

I had been facing the problem of removing the " Write Protection" On USB Pen Drive since a week. I tried different options from formatting my computer to changing anti viruses to anti spy wares but without any fruitful result. It was giving me trouble i could not add anything on my pen drive nor could i delete any material from it. The only thing it showed was "the disk is write protected". Today more than a week i was going through different page of the websites regarding the same trouble faced by many people across the globe and finally when i got the idea to replace my write protected option i was highly relieved. I shall be thankful towards Trouble Fixers.

For other do go though the process if you too have similar problem:

1. Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor.

2. Navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Note: If the registry key StorageDevicePolicies key does not exist, you will need to create it

Download this batch file called add.bat from here, and double click after download the key will be automatically added to registry.

3. Double click the key WriteProtect in the right pane and set the value to 0 in the Value Data Box and press OK button

4. Exit Registry, restart your computer and then again re-connect your USB pen drive on your computer. That is it, done.
