SINGTAM,
AUGUST 5: Singlebong JHS defeated East Point SSS, Singtam
with three goals to one in the inaugural match of 68th Independence
Day Celebration JHS Level Football Tournament 2014 organized by Chisopani JHS. Boys
of Singlebong JHS had the upper hand in the match and went on to score two
goals in the first half and added another goal in the second half to take their
goal tally to three. EPSS boys gave their best but could only manage a lone
goal scored in the first half.
Sumendra Rai scored
twice; Jiwan Subba added the other goal for Singlebong score while Arya Mangar,
the captain of EPSSS netted the lone goal for his team.
Bimal Lamichaney, Panchayat
President, Sirwani Chisopani GPU was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mahesh
Dahal, Headmaster of Chisopani JHS gave the welcome speech. CM Chettri, teacher
of the school was the host of the football match.
