Curators Orientation Programme was organised by BCCI and hosted by Assam cricket association for Northeast and other remaining states at Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati from 3rd July 2018 to 7th July 2018, where two representative from Sikkim Cricket Association, Karma Namgyal Bhutia and P Dungyal attended.
Theory and Practical sessions were held by faculty curators on three layer pitch construction, pitch soil selection, pitch preparation, outfield construction and ground equipments. Preparation and standard infrastructure requirements for hosting first class Ranji matches at North-east grounds were discussed at the programme.
The faculty members present during the programme were Taposh Chatterjee (BCCI zonal curator, Central) Mr Ashish Bhowmik (BCCI Zonal curator, East) Dr. S B Singh (BCCI Curator, Northeast and Bihar).
