3RD EARTH QUAKE HITS SIKKIM


GANGTOK, May 23: As Sikkim lay in slumber, the third earthquake hit Gangtok and parts of Sikkim at 11.12 pm replicating alarm among the masses who felt it.

After Friday and Sunday again in the last hour of Wednesday. Frequent earthquakes came repeating lately rising apprehensions among the masses. The earthquake that hit tonight was reported to be of moderate magnitude, the Richter scale of which was not confirmed till going to the press.

Instances of damage or panic were not reported from any part of the state.

  1. warning dear!i witnessed the 9 richter earthquake in my islands.you cant stand on the flat ground,we sat.if that happens here. more se no more ho jayenge!Tsunami of a different kind will happen here..landslides may cause rivers flood the hights..my blog is dorment.sheetal ,keep on doing the good work.
