Neeraj Chopra showed in his first two attempt why he is rated high. Carrying a blessings of millions of India. His second Javelin throw 87.58m gave India's first-ever track and field gold medal at the

Indian women hockey goes down to Argentina 2-1; now faces Great Britain for Olympic bronze medal

A dream run for Indian Women's team also ended up with a loss to Argentina 2-1. They were not expected to reach this far yet, if you chase your dream nothing is impossible.

Last couple of matches was nothing less than a fairy tale - flimsy type. As, i talked yesterday, this Olympic has given that transformation that people of India had again started to give their hearts to hockey.

I congratulate
#RaniRampal and her girls for making the nation pride. Best wises for the Bronze medal match. Interestingly, Argentina had defeated India in last Rio Olympic 5-0.

Indian men hockey gets defeated by Belgium 5-2; wins million's heart

So close and yet so far. Indian men hockey team went down fighting. They lost the match but won the heart.

Indian hockey never had a chance in this Olympic. They seemed to be the shadow of the old hockey power house of the world. But after this Olympic, hockey shall not be the same in India.

Thank You Boys for making us glue to the TV sets, you showed that India can compete with the best in the world. Today, Belgium defeated India 5-2 but hockey won. If you leave out the last quarter, the match was evenly fought.
Even Bronze medal can be more sweeter than the gold. #bestwishes
Interestingly, this is India's third consecutive loss to Belgium in the
Olympics

India's Sindhu wins badminton bronze after the previous Rio Silver

I consider this bronze medal, the best of the two medals PV Sindhu had received in the Olympics. The Rio Silver medal, she had received after loosing a final but this bronze medal is very special, she earned it and she played like a champion and dominated the match from the opening point.

Interestingly, this is India's third consecutive badminton medals at the
Olympics

Congratulation #PVSindhu, Congratulation #badminton

India defeats Great Britain 3-1, enters Olympic semi final after 41 years

Indian Hockey team lived upto its expectation and entered the historic semi final after 41 years. They outplayed Great Britain 3-1.

All the three goals came from a field goal must have given the team a big boast. Without any doubt, my hero of the match is goalie Sreejesh and the defense was excellent.

Indian team had a better two quarters, the opponent team came back strong till the last few minutes of the game. In the under pressure match, the Indian boys pulled out the third goal and finishing off the match.

Interestingly, Indian hockey team last entered the semi final at Olympic was in 1980 and they had won the gold medal. India meets Belgium in the next match.
