RONGLI, NOVEMBER 12: BAC Regu/ HRDD / East organised sub- division level programme at Rongli Bazar on National Education Day, the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister on 11 th November 2011. The programme was attended by BDO, BAC/ Regu Sheri Dhiraj Pradhan as a Chief Guest followed by Assistant Director, HRDD/ BAC/Regu Shri Chador Bhutia, SDPO Rongli, P I Rongli, Principal/Headmaster and teachers of   different govt. and private schools of Rongli surroundings ( Rongli JHS, God Sunn’s   Prep. School, Sunrise Model School and Bidhya Bharati School) Staffs of Regu BAC, SMC members, guardians, local public and students of government and private schools. I find this as an wonderful discovery, i am a big fan of Dhiraj Pradhan's artistic works and believe me each of his work speaks itself. His brush strokes is more than a moving picture. I have gone through his passion for paintings since last few years now and today interestingly i found a photograph in facebook that inspired my dear friend to convert it into a memorable portrait.

Dhiraj Pradhan SINGTAM: Sikkim contingent that had participated at 2 nd North East Youth Festival 2011 at Shillong went on to bag two second prizes at Solo Instrumental Competition and in Painting Competition, while they also secured third prize at the One Act Play competition.   According to the information received from Praveen Pradhan, the team leader of Sikkim Contingent; Dhiraj Pradhan from Rhenock stood second in painting competition while Sonam Waiba from Gangtok bagged a second prize with his guitar skill at Solo Instrumental competition.  A Nine member play group finished third at the One Act Play competition, informed Pradhan. Dhiraj Pradhan is a talented painter from the Himalayan land of Sikkim. He is a native of Rhenock, East Sikkim. His fantasy with colours started in a very young age and at early 20s he has shown that talent does not wait for any introduction or age. His work is also on sell. Singtam: United Alliance Club, a local club here at Chisopani organized a meet to fight for a major challenge in today's society in Drugs. The two month old club was started especially for the motive to help the youth indulged in drug addiction as well as educate the consequences of the Drugs. Talking on the occasion Dhiraj Pradhan, President of the club spoke of the ill effects of the intake of the drugs in today's society. He recalled for the need of such organization to help those people. Pradhan added those people should not be seen as the ills of the society but need to have a talk with them. Initially it won't be easy but with helping hand from every individual present on the meet, Pradhan was very optimistic about his approach with a success. Different discussion was held to improve and appraise the club and be available to every needful individual.
