Sikkim wins top three awards at North East Prag Cine Award

Sikkim’s Film “Anmol Tshan-A Christmas in September” produced by Kishor Dungmali Rai had won the 3 Awards which includes NE Best Feature Film, NE Best Actor (Female) and NE Best Actor (Male) in North East Prag Cine Award 2015 held at Dibrugarh, Assam. NE Best Actor (Female) Sneha Rai, a product of TNA and Mount Hermon School is a debutant actor, received huge round of applause from the jury for her act. Her performances were already applauded by viewers of Sikkim and South Asian Countries during the premiere show of the movie.   Likewise NE Best Actor (Male) Shalom Kabo a famous actor from the hills who hails from Kalimpong also got huge appreciation. Kabo had already bagful of hit films viz. Naya Goreto, Baardan and many more and widely known in different countries among Nepali speaking communities. Anmol Chhan ties up with Sikkim First FM Station Radio Misty

Sikkimese producer Kishor Dungmali Rai ’s Nepali Feature Film “Anmol Chhan” A Christmas in September has tied up with Sikkim First FM Station Radio Misty . The Music release of the movie is scheduled to be held at Radio Misty FM Station after Dusshera holidays. Previously Radio Misty 95 FM was a radio partner for Mr. Dungmali’s Indian Idol acted flick “Angalo Maya Ko” also. Music for this movie was composed by Anmol Gurung , Anand Rai and playback voice given by Indian Idol 3 Prashant Tamang, Himalayan Idol Banika Pradhan , Voice of Shalom winner Elishiba Rai , Anmol Gurung, Bigyan Baraily, Navin Rai and Suzan Subba respectively.  Well known Music Director of Kolkata Saikap Deb had given background score and arranged some songs for this movie. “Anmol Chhan – A Christmas in September” from the makers of Super Hit nepali film “Angalo Yo Maya Ko” is making its way to cinema hall world –wide next month. Produced by Kishore Dungmali Rai under the banner of Sinai Enterprises , this nepali film shot at the beautiful locales of Sikkim and parts of Kalimpong and Kolkata is about family values and self-belief. Directed and story by Anmol Gurung , the story revolves around three people and their journey of life. Sneha Rai from Majhitar makes her debut as a lead actress. Shalom Kabo and child artiste Anurup Rai are the other lead actors in the film. The other artists include “Katha fame” Timothy Rai, Nita Pradhan, Sandhya Sundas, Suraj Chettri, Abigel Rasaily, Smriti Rai, Praveen Mangar, and others. Nepal boys won Governor's Gold Cup but Army wins heart

BY SHITAL PRADHAN FROM PALZOR STADIUM Gangtok : Expected to be the best match of the event the finals at the 30th All India Governor's Gold Cup was not as interesting as it would had been. Nepal's Three Star club won by a solitary goal when the play was 20 minute remaining. The first half of the game went goal less and dominated by the Army Eleven.But luck along with prayers of the entire spectators played more to Nepal boys. Twice in the game the ball kicked by the Army player hit the goal post denying them moments of joy. Kiran Chamjang There were many times when Army team solely dominated the game but towards the end one single chance and Nepal team grabbed the opportunity. Entire stadium wanted Nepal to win but the irony of all the Army team won the heart of entire stadium. Kishore Rai, jersey no. 9 scored the winning goal.
