31.05.22: No Smoking Day was observed at Sakyong Chisopani JHS with talks on social issues affecting society. Present on occasion were the School’s staff and students, members of Chisopani GPUs, members of SMCs, guardians and others. Rohit Raj Maharaj, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister to Sikkim had graced the occasion as the chief guest cum resource person for the anti-drug campaign. The Advisor gave important lessons on moral values, he echoed on making 'afno gau aafai banau'. A short slogan rally was organised that was participated by the students carrying placards displaying messages on anti-drugs. The students of the school also presented welcome prayer songs in Nepali and English. SB Gurung, SHO, Singtam Police Station spoke on different issues related to POCSO Act and cybercrime.
