Office bearers of NPF MINORITY WING, Dimapur Division have taken oath on 4th November at Dimapur Division Office conference hall, in presence of hundred of NPF Party leaders. The Newly appointed Office bearers of Minority Wing, Dimapur Division are Suresh Paira as President and Jayant Sethi as General Secretary comprising team of 20 members, from several Communities holding different portfolios. The oath taking ceremony was witnessed by NPF Central office bearers and members of Dimapur Division with AC President and frontal's. The speakers in the programme were Bishnu Bhattacharjee, President Minority Wing (Central), Basu Damani General Secretary NPF Central , Mrs Kerei Pfuka, Press Secretary Women Wing Central and Blaise Ihielung , Incharge, Dimapur Division. Mr Blaise elaborated the contribution of Minority leaders in Nagaland and need of formation of political cell like Minority Wing of NPF. Today (03.11.15), a meeting was held at Kid Zee School, Dhamala Colony, Singtam with seven enthusiastic photography admirers to set up a Photography Society. As such, adhoc body was formed. The outcome of the meeting was the official launching of the Photography Society very soon. Agendas for the establishment of such adventurous organisation was discussed. The founding members of the today's meeting were : Milan Sharma, Saroj Limbu, Sisir Chettri, Suresh Pradhan, Roshan Rai, Ashok Prasad and Shital Pradhan. SINGTAM, NOVEMBER 2: The new executive members of Shantinagar Goan Sudhar Samiti held a bimonthly meeting at Shantinagar. Different matters for the betterment of the organization were discussed. Mohan Sunar, newly elected President urged the executive members to give their best to make a better society. Sanitation, garbage problem, winter coaching class for class x students was the highlight of the discussion. All the members echoed the importance of awareness and spreading message of better society. Other members presented included Krishna Chettri (Vice President), Gopal Subba (General Secretary), Milan Sharma and Sudarshan Sunar (Joint Secretary), Dhiraj Pradhan, (Treasurer) and Shital Pradhan (Publicity Secretary).

Sikkimese actor Praja Pradhan's starer Nepali movie "12 Nepali Ek Chihan" is all set to have a special show at ATTC Bardang Auditorium Hall on November 8, 2015, on Sunday at 3 pm. The movie is based on a true tragic story of 12 Nepali citizens killed by Iraqi terrorists. Praja Pradhan plays one of the twelve main characters in the movie. The film has already travelled to Dubai, Hong Kong, Jordan, Australia and other countries. Support Nepali film, support Sikkimes e artists.

Aamir Khan tweets...My daughter Ira's first exhibition, and I managed to buy this one. It's called 'The Tiger's Nest'. I love it! Ira Khan, the eldest daughter is holding her first painting exhibition at Mumbai where Aamir Khan had brought the black and white painting of Paro  Taktsang  Monastery . The monastery build in 1692 is one of the sacred sites of Buddhism; is located in the cliff-side of the upper Paro valley, in Bhutan. Paro Taktsang is the better known for its thirteen taktsang or "tiger lair" caves in which Guru Padmashambhava meditated. Legend says Guru Padmashambhava had flown to this place on the back of tigress. The place was blessed to tame the Tiger Demon. Padmasambhava is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan. Thus getting the word Tiger’s Nest!!
