Darjeeling, December 09: The
GNLF has turned
itself to start an agitation
for Gorkhaland state if there
are more delays in granting
Sixth Schedule status to the

Centre and the West Bengal
government for fast execution
of the Sixth Schedule bill
in parliament.
The bill was shelved after
BJP members demanded that
it be referred to a parliamentary
committee."The report will probably
take a month to compile. However,
if there is further delay
and the bill is not passed
in the budget session (starting
February), we will
demand Gorkhaland,"
