The song "Faza Bhi Hai Jawan Jawan" from the movie Nikaah takes me to Artihang, Gangtok, where, in the eighties, my mother had her Teacher's Training at Gangtok. As a 4-5-year-old boy, this song and the Chukar mere man ko from Yarana were the only songs that used to be heard on the Radio all the time. Whenever I hear this song, faza bhi hai jawan jawan, even to this day, it takes me to that era when I was with my mother. The voice of Salma Agha makes me nostalgic. Beautifully written and even beautifully sung.

Two words on the 8th para, which earlier said 'Rajah rah Rani,' were replaced with "Janmah bhumi." This song was dedicated to the King and Queen of Sikkim. The song lyrics were penned by Sanu Lama, and the music was composed by Dushyant Lama. The song was first sung on the birth anniversary of Chogyal Palden Thondup Namgyal on April 4, 1970, at Gangtok by Aruna Lama, Dawa Lama, and Manikamal Chettri.
