Sisney Primay School organized Retired Farewell progamme


Rongli. May 1: Sisney Primary School under 14 Premlakha-Subhaney GPU of 20th Chujachen Constituency organized farewell program of RB Moktan, retired headmaster of Sisney Primary School on 28th April 2015. Dorjee Sherpa, Deputy Director, HRDD, Regu GVK was present as a chief guest along with TT Bhutia, Principal Chujachen SSS, Deepak Rai, AEO, HRDD, Regu GVK, Retired Headmaster, RB Moktan, Ganesh Kumar Chettri, Headmaster Rongli JHS, other schools headmasters, Panchayats, RDAs, Students, SMC, the general public.
The program started with the welcome song by the students of Sisney Primary School and Nabin Chandra Dhungel, Headmaster welcomed the gathered.

Gathered guests and others offered khadas to the retired headmaster. TT Bhutia, Principal Chujachen SSS told that he had worked as a primary teacher under his headmastership and learned much more under his guidance. He also told that he is retired not tired and he present a felicitation certificate to RB Mokhtan.

School Family felicitated RB Mokhtan by offering a shawl and a certificate from the hand of the chief guest for his continuous service at Sisney Primary School. While speaking on the program, RB Mokhtan told that he enjoyed teaching. He served 39 years of his service in HRDD.

Chief Guest Dorjee Sherpa told the gathering that he was also a student and shared his experience during his student life. Students and ex-students performed dance and songs were sung to entertain the program. A vote of thanks was given by DN Pradhan while the master of ceremony was the BL Sharma.

JANHA BAGCHA TEESTA RANGIT

This was a national song of Sikkim sung in the Nepali language during the monarchy system. During the merger with India, the song got banned and later re-released. Two words on the 8th para, which earlier said 'Rajah rah Rani,' were replaced with "Janmah bhumi."     This song was dedicated to the King and Queen of Sikkim.
