SINGTAM, JUNE 3: Newly
formed members of the School Managing Committee along with students’ guardians of
Sakyong Chisopani JHS carried a day-long cleanliness drive in and around
Sakyong Chisopani JHS premises. The team was led by Montika Gurung,
President SMC, Sakyong Chisopani JHS, and also attended by the school staff.
Speaking on the occasion,
Montika Gurung had said, the cleanliness around the school premises is not
limited to the school authority, we as an SMC, guardians, and local villagers should
come forward and make our contributions too. We are happy with the day-to-day progress
of the school and we shall always be there for the betterment of the school,
added Gurung.
We teach our children
about cleanliness at home and we feel the school is the second home of our
children, so we are here to spread the message of a clean and better environment,
echoed the guardians and the local villagers. The cleanliness drive was also done in view of the approaching Environment day.
