National Consumer Day
was celebrated at Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, Mazhitar by Federation of
Consumers Association of Sikkim today. Tilu Gurung, MLA Namthang Ratheypani and
Gopal Baraily, MLA West Pandam was the Chief Guest and the Guest of honour of
the day.

President Majhitar Educated Unemployed Youth Cooperative Society was conferred
with Concerned Consumer Award 2016 for his initiative on creating awareness
among the public in the issues of Domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Water &
in many more.

Bhutia and Eda Lawrence were the resource person of the day. Suresh Lama was
the host of the day while Rohit Pradhan, General Secretary of FCAS gave the
welcome speech. Shekher Khatiwara gave the vote of thanks.
