Sikkim Sangram Prashad, two times Sikkim State Election winning regional party





Sikkim Sangram Parishad, regional political party in Sikkim was formed in 1984, when NB Bhandari, leader of Sikkim Janta Parishad dissolved his old party to form a new one. The SSP Party went on to win two state elections in 1984 and 1989 - winning all 32 seats in the house. 

After losing two consecutive state elections to Sikkim Democratic Front, Bhandari merged SSP with Indian National Congress and became the President of Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee (SPCC) in 2004. Bhandari later in 2013 revived SSP again. After the death of NB Bhandari in 2017, his wife Dil Kumari Bhandari became the President of Sikkim Sangram Parishad.
