Jatayu, the white feathered vulture bird who fights Ravana while trying to save Sita has many first to his credits. He is the first person to fight against terror that even PM Modi had mentioned. Another interesting fact reveals Jatayu was the first one to fight for women rights. 




Rama, Sita and Laxmana had met this bird while moving in the forest where they came to know he was the friend of King Dasratha. Jatayu tries to protect Sita but his feathered wing is cut by Ravana. It was he who reveals that Sita was abducted by Ravana and breathe his last moments on the arms of Rama. Chadayamangalam in Kerala and Lepakshi in Andhara Pradesh attributes to its connection to Jatayu when the old bird falls at the ground. I tried my best to the find the actor’s name but nothing is mentioned at the any pages of internet
