The Great Khali to attend Sikkim's International MMA fight

 February 21, Singtam : The Great Khali, WWE Superstar and Sahil Khan, Bollywood actor and fitness icon is all set to visit Gangtok this April 17 to be part of the biggest International MMA fight night. The event is hosted by Indian Fight Night and organised by Team FITB 27 Event Head Bishal Chettri, Mr. Sikkim 2019 and owner FITB 27. 

The official MMA T-shirt was released by The Great Khali at Film City, Mumbai on February 19, 2021. Team FITB 27 has thanked Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim for supporting and promoting the sport. International fighters, Indian fighters and fighters from Sikkim shall participate in this mega event, reads the press release.

List of Arjuna Awardees from Sikkim

Arjuna Award for Outstanding Performance in Sports and Games, officially called Arjuna Award is the second highest sports honour in India after Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. Constituted in the year 1961, the award comprises a bronze statue of Arjuna (a character from the epic Mahabharata), a certificate, a ceremonial dress, and a cash prize of ₹15 lakh (US$20,000 - as of 2020). Sonam Gyatso (1923–1968): Sonam Gyatso claimed fame when at the age of 42 became the second Indian to summit Mt Everest on May 22, 1965. He was then the oldest person to reach the top and spend more than 50 minutes the longest time at the peak.
