“Angalo Yo Maya Ko” : Shooting in Progress

Kishor Dungmali Rai’s Nepali Feature Film “Angalo Yo Maya Ko”  shooting was almost 25%  completed within this 15 days time. The shooting was done at different locations including the Gangtok White Hall complex, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Majhitar, Sikkim Mining complex, and other adjacent places. The schedule for the sequence of the songs will be visualized at North Sikkim and South Sikkim respectively. 


Sikkim’s based artist Mahindra Gurung who is playing the lead role opposite Prashant Tamang in this movie is giving his best of the effort along with renowned Sikkimese artist Chunilal Ghimeray, Mahendra Bajgai, Hemant Giri, and another debutant Mahima Chettri, Sajal Pradhan, and Child Artist baby Prasansa Chettri (Priya). The current shooting scenes is characterized by mostly Sikkimese artist and they were highly appreciated for their hard work and dedication by the entire crew.  

During the shooting in progress scene main lead Indian Idol 3, Prashant Tamang met with the bike accident and quickly rush to Rangpo PHC. Right now he is alright and giving his best in every scene required by the movie.  


According to the Co-Producer of the film Mrs. Radha Thapa Dungmali  “ Our Official Partners are really doing a great job on promoting our movie before its release wholeheartedly, besides that other media are playing a good role in the same sequence,  my thanks and prayer for them will remain always”. In memory of the brave Gorkha soldiers of the Darjeeling Hills who laid down their lives for the greater cause of the motherland, Nayan Subba takes the opportunity to recall their contributions on the occasion of the 58th Republic Day The Gorkhas are a small little community in India where people of diverse origins mingle to contribute a great composite Indian culture. Maharani Kunzang Dechen wife of Chogyal Sir Tashi Namgyal

Maharani with her children Photo shared by Tenpa I am thankful towards Tina Tashi for providing information about the persons in the photographs. Maharani Kunzang Dechhen in the centre to her left is Prince Paljor, to her right is Prince Palden Thondup Namgyal who later became the Chogya of Sikkiml, in front is Princess Pema Tsedeun. The baby is Princess Pema Choki. MAHARANI KUSHANG DECHEN RAGASHAR was married to Chogyal Sir Tashi Namgyal, the King of Sikkim on 8th October 1918 at the Royal Chapel, Tsuklakhang Monastery. They had three sons and three daughters: Paljor Namgyal, Palden Thondup Namgyal, Jigdal Tsewing Namgyal, Pema Tsedong Namgyal, Pema Choki Namgyal and Sonam Palden Namgyal.
