It was a wonderful time hosting &
coordinating the grand celebration of 68th Independence Day observed at
Majhitar School Ground with the colourful cultural programmes by
students of Majhitar Secondary School in coordination of teachers, sports
& concluded with Final of 3rd Late Man Rupa Gurung Memorial
Volleyball Tournament "Hill Championship" which was won by Turuk United
of South Sikkim victory over Mamring United. Cash prize of Rs. 50000
& Rs. 30000 with trophy was handed over to winner & runner team
respectively.Zilla Upadhakshya(South) Miss Devi Maya Baraily attended the program as a Chief Guest & Medical Officer of Rangpo PHC Dr. Rojesh Gurung ,with special guest Ward Councillor Majhitar Ward Shri Purna Bdr Chettri.
On the occasion of I-Day MEUYCS presented token of appreciation to Lineman's of Power Department Majhitar ward for their outstanding service for the welfare of Majhitar Public, and thanked every sponsors , supporters & media partners for their contributions in the 68th I-Day.
