SINGTAM, AUGUST 20: Shantinagar
Gaon Sudhar Samiti celebrated 28th Nepali Bhasa Diwas with display
of online nepali poetry recitation through social platform. Six poets were
invited to share their videos of poem that was uploaded on the official Facebook
page of Shantinagar Gaon Sudhar Samiti.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Chettri, President,
SGSS told, we had been observing Nepali Bhasa Diwas as a big event but this
time due to Covid-19 pandemic we thought of a different concept. After
discussing with executive members and advisors of the Samiti we decided to go
for virtual media platform. We thank our invitee poets for making the event
memorable and success, added Chettri.
Padam Parajuli (Siliguri), Surya Kharel (Bardang), Anand
Chettri (Singtam), Lokesh Mukhia (Singtam), Nishant Dulal (Singtam) and
Ayushman Chettri (Shantinagar, Singtam) were the invited poets.
