Glory of Sikkim 2020 beauty pageant gets its top 11 finalists

SINGTAM, DECEMBER 19: Hannah Presents Glory of Sikkim 2020 beauty pageant starts its grooming session. Fifty contestants had participated through an online and offline process from different corners of Sikkim. Mega Audition was held at Rongli Village Paradise Resort, Makaibari on December 17, 2020 out of which 11 contestants got through to the Top 11 finalists. Sristi S Pariyar was the judge of the Mega Audition.

Speaking on the occasion, Dinah Bishwakarma, Founder/CEO – Glory of Sikkim said the beauty pageant provides a beautiful opportunity to all the girls of 12-26 years age group. The specialty of the beauty pageant is the fact that this competition has a theme “Beauty comes in every shape, size, and colour’. The pageant is all about beautiful souls. It will provide an opportunity to those girls who actually think that they are not beautiful because of their weight, skinny skin, short height, and others, said the CEO.

This was a national song of Sikkim sung in the Nepali language during the monarchy system. During the merger with India, the song got banned and later re-released. Two words on the 8th para, which earlier said 'Rajah rah Rani,' were replaced with "Janmah bhumi." This song was dedicated to the King and Queen of Sikkim. It was my good fortune to have visited the Forest Department Office at Deorali this summer and met officials out there.
