18.11.21: The Smoke Testing Centre at Singtam, Golitar was officially inaugurated by Sunita Gautam, Chairperson RDD in a small function attended by distinguished guests. Suresh Tamang, (President Singtam Nagar Panchayat), Hari Dangal, (CLC President 18th West Pandam), LN Pradhan, (President, Sikkim Govt. Retired Employees Welfare Association, Singtam Branch), Deepak Pradhan, Binod Pradhan, Manoj Pradhan and Ganesh Pradhan were among the Special Guests who attended the program. Dhiraj Pradhan is the owner of the Smoke Testing Centre, first of its kind in Singtam and its surrounding.

The archeological findings of different Neolithic tools in this part of the Himalayas over the last three decades speak of its antiquity. It may be of little importance to many.
