Gojoldopa is a blooming tourist hub just 39 km from Siliguri in the Jalpaiguri district. Set up as the Teesta Barrage, this water reservoir is a favourite for tourists for sighting scenes, boating and birding. This barrage is the largest in northeast India. Fish markets and delicious seafood await a taste of a lifetime.
The boat safari costs Rs 100 to Rs 150 per individual for one full round of the lake. The wooden boat gives you a feel for traditional Indian riverside life.
