Central team visits Siliguri in order to investigate the cause of sudden death of poultry chicken
Following the mysterious death of chickens at a poultry farm at Matigara, Siliguri, two hight level central committee reached Siliguri on May 10 in order to investigate the cause of the death of the poultry chicken. The two team headed by Dr. Manoj Shah, joint director of Ministry of Agriculture and Dr. Gupta of National Institute of communicable diseases visited the poultry farm at Dulaljot, Matigara and started the investigation. According to the report, although the chicken died, no human being is being effected by the disease as yet. Following the death of chicken, the selling of eggs and chickens have drastically been decreased in and around Siliguri, instead fish market have been suddenly witnessed the high selling.
