Chief Minister Chamling to attend the meeting of Planning commission in New Delhi, likely to meet union ministers



Gangtok: Chief Minister Dr. Pawan Chamling left for Delhi on February 11 from the capital. On his way to Jorethang and Siliguri, he is likely to attend some social functions. On February 12, he will fly to Delhi via Bagdogra. During his stay in New Delhi, he will have the meeting with the Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Dr. Montek Singh Aluwalia for the annual plan budget for the fiscal year 2008-2009. He is likely to meet numbers of Union Ministers and pursue the burning issues of Sikkim like the reservation of seats for Tamang and Limbu in the Assembly and the construction of airstrip at Pakyong.
