Rangpo bird flu

Rangpo: To prevent bird flu in the State, strict preventive measures at Rangpo check post, initiated by the Department of Animal Husbandry from January, 2008, still continues. At the check post, vehicles entering into Sikkim from other places are being sprayed with chemicals and passengers are made to walk on a wet chemical soaked carpet.
