| GANGTOK, FEB 8 (PTI) The Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) today accused its adversary Sikkim Himala Rajya Parishad Party (SHRPP) of indulging in violent tactics to defame the ruling party and asked the opposition party to utilise various democratic forum to raise its grievances. "The opposition SHRPP has been distubing the law and order situation in the state by resorting to violence in order to bring disrepute to the Pawan Kumar Chamling government," senior SDF leader and Chamling's Advisor B B Gurung said here. Reacting to the SHRPP allegation that its workers were being harassed by the ruling SDF cadres across the state, he said that on the contrary it was the SHRPP activists who were indulging in violence against their adversaries, Gurung said. On the charges of misgovernance and corruption levelled against the Chamling government by the opposition, he said that if the opposition parties have any substantial proof against the SDF government then they should move to the judiciary. On the SHRPP having submitted a memorandum to the Governor Sudershan Agrawal to draw his attention to the deterioration in the law and order situation and victimisation of the opposition parties' leader and workers, he dismissed these charges and said that the SDF delegation has also met the Governor and apprised him with the ground reality.
