45 register for Kanchendzonga Mountain Biking



CHANDIGARH, FEB 23
The Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation Limited has so far received 45 entries for the inaugural $ 25,000 Prize Money Kanchendzonga Mountain Biking from March 2.
According to information received from Gangtok, the teams from Indian Army, Nepal, Thailand, France and Germany have registered for the thrilling and energy-consuming 10-mountain biking expedition which will be an annual feature. Out of 45 entries, 17 are from abroad.
It’s a toast to adventure lovers from around the world over, as they come together for this grand cycling and hiking spectacle to the majestic ranges of the Himalayas.The splendid adventure racing through a staggering 350 kms gaining an elevation of over 21,000 metres a test of strength and determination, the trans-Himalayan challenge.
The first camp will be at Sang Play Ground on March 3 and return to Gangtok on March 12.
