International florishow likely to inaugurate by Montek Singh Aluwalia

Gangtok: According to a reliable source, the International florishow 2008 being organized at Saramsa garden, East Sikkim is likely to inaugurate non other than the Deputy Planning commissioner, Dr. Montek Singh Aluwalia on March 14th with much fanfare. Dr. Aluwalia is slated to visit Sikkim from Delhi to Kolkatta and via Bagdogra. The new face of Gangtok town will also be inaugurated same evening, it is stated. Chief Minister Dr. Chamling is likely to address the media persons about the International florishow on March 12 on the spot of the show.

According to the Secretary Horticulture and cash crop, Shri R. Teleng, 20 countries are taking part in the show while many groups from the country and the North East Region are making their participation now. The preparation is going on in full swing at the moment.
