Around 11 personalities from different
fields are to be felicitated on the 67th Independence Day
celebration on August 15 at Sirwani Chisopani. Other than that there will be
the final of Inter-school football competition and inter-school Nepali folk
dance competition featuring six schools to entertain the host of distinguished
guests and the crowds. The new school building inauguration shall also happen
on the auspicious occasion.
Shri Am Prasad Sharma,
Area MLA Khamdong – Singtam cum Parliamentary Secretary would grace the
occasion as the Chief Guest of the day. Chisopani JHS teachers are preparing
their students for the march-past and especially the ‘drill’ that has been
attempted for the first time in the 37-year-old school history.
The major highlight of
the day-long program shall be the felicitation ceremony of distinguished
personalities from different fields that had made a difference in society.
