The second day of the 1st Singtam Open Badminton Tournament ends

19.03.22: The second day of the ongoing 1st Singtam Open Badminton Tournament had fascinating matches enjoyed by the gathered audiences from different corners of Sikkim. Many of the National level players from Sikkim and nearby hill regions of North Bengal showcased their talents; the player's rallies were highly appreciated by the crowds. There were politicians cum players like Shri Jacob Khaling and Shri Damber Pradhan, who garnered huge support from the crowds.

Chief Guest on the second day was Shri Arun Upretti, Minister, U&HD Food and Civil Supply. Other distinguished guests included Shri KK Thatal (Chairman, Railway) Shri Suresh Tamang (Singtam Municipality President), Shri Kishore Chhetri (Councillor, SNP) Shri Mukesh Agarwal (Councilor, SNP) Shri Suresh Kumar Pradhan (Principal, Singatam SSS), Shri Ganesh Pradhan (Food Inspector, Singtam), Chairman of Temi Board Tansi Bhutia, Shri Prakash Kharel (MEO, Singtam), Shri Sundar Rai (AEO, Duga) and others.

The last day of the three-day tournament shall have finals of the six categories - men's doubles, mixed doubles, 35+ doubles, 40+ doubles, 45+ doubles, and 50+ doubles. Dr. MK Sharma, Health Minister, and Area MLA would grace the occasion as the Chief Guest for the grand finale of the tournament.
