SINGTAM , DECEMBER 22: Anand Lamichaney , Royal Plaza Mr Sikkim Demazong 2019 launched the logo of New Heaven Dance Academy at Rangpo today. Distinguished guests present on the occasion included Sangita Khawas , Top 6 at Mrs Sikkim 2018 , Bikash Prasad , Shital Pradhan , blogger, Proud to Be a Sikkimese, students of the Institute and their guardians. January 18, Singtam : Culture competition was held today on the third day of the 4th State Rally of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Sikkim State at Khani Khola, Majhitar. Over 75 students from different schools in Sikkim participated in different competitions. Those students also visited the Khani Gaon for a Community Development Project Survey. The slogan writing competition, Gadget and Pioneering Competition was organized on the day. Mr. Abhinay Chhetri, Associate Director of Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, and eminent writer Mr. Raj K. Shrestha was the Chief Observer and the Chief Guest of the competition. Mr. Praveen Pradhan, President, Spark NGO from Singtam, and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. The much awaited grand finale of the “Sikkim Dance ka Maha Mukabla” is all set to be held at Singtam Bazaar on September 26, 2010. The concluding part of the splendid show shall feature seven solo dancers and six group dancers shall have a tough competition for the top honour. The grand finale had to be postponed from its earlier date due to natural calamities that occurred in and around Singtam on the first week of this month.  The major attraction of the program is the stage debut performance of Bisnu Suman in Sikkim.
