NEWS FIRST PUBLISHED ON SIKKIM EXPRESS (15/03/07) NEWS BY SHITAL PRADHAN Passenger Reservation System (PRS) was opened at Singtam SNT Office on 15/03/07. The opening function was graced by Dr C. Ethenpa, Chief Medical Officer, District Hospital, Singtam as Chief Guest. Senior citizens, local leaders, Govt. Officials and the officers from the Telephone Exchange, Singtam, 60 in numbers were present on the occasion. Shri L. N. Pradhan, Jt. Secretary SNT, Rangpo while delivering a welcome address urged all to be benefited from the PRS. Shri Samdup Bhutia, Shri Norbu Bhutia, TTA Singtam and Gangtok explained the function of PRS and urged all to co-operate for the smooth functioning of PRS. Both of them replied to the questions raised by the participants. The Chief Guest in her speech thanked the Transport Department, SNT Division for establishing PRS at Singtam.
