Nirupa Roy was an Indian actress who had appeared in Hindi films. Often called the "Queen of Misery" in Hindi film circles. Roy was active from 1946 to 1999 and was best known as renowned for playing motherly roles. Roy appeared in over 250 films and won three Filmfare Awards throughout her career, as well as being nominated for one. In 2004, Roy received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. Bhutan 's actor Sangay Tsheltrim is playing the third villain in Salman Khan's much talked next release of 2020 'Radhe'. But sorry to say, web pages at internet is flooded with news that says Sang Hae (mis-pronounced) is a well known actor from Sikkim. Sangay Tsheltrim, former Mr Asia silver medallist and gold medallist at the 50th Asian Body-building and Physique Sports Championships's debut film Singye from Bhutan was a big hit and he had won the best debut actor award.

Bangalore, June 17: A breath of fresh air for Kannada filmdom, all the way from Nepal. Ganesh, of Nepalese descent, is making waves across the state with his second film — Mungaru Male (Monsoon Rain). The film, which has had cash registers ringing non-stop for more than 24 weeks now, is also ringing in a change. An industry that is almost militant in its opposition to non-Kannadiga actors or even films has a Nepali poised for stardom. Ganesh, however, is hesitant to recognize his roots, preferring to say that he is from Adakamaranahalli, a village on the city’s outskirts. “I have already clarified that I am not a Nepali. I am an Indian,” he says, though he admits that his forefathers are from Nepal and belong to the Gurkha clan. The family also has a Darjeeling connection, but he does not want to talk about it. “His father was a watchman in Bangalore. Ganesh grew up here and is fluent in Kannada.
