Watch out for this cannon ball tree and this is in Sikkim!!

A few months back, I read an article on a cannonball tree in a Science Reporter magazine and came across something like that in front of me. I had never expected it to happen so soon. Its not a joke...but

This evening i was teaching my 2 and half year old daughter some english lessons, the first and perhaps the only word i could teach today was a word " father". My daughter calls me "Baba", so i wanted her to know it's father in english and i told her....Baba means father in english...F..A...T...H...E...R ....and i asked her to repeat it with me F..A...T...H...E...R...., but my daughter promptly replied and i was clean bowled she pronounced it B..A..D..H..A...R. I never knew father sound so close to Badhar. Well Badhar is for monkey in nepali, i am scared what shall be the next lesson i shall teach her and what shall i be hearing from her.

I was born in Rongli more than two decades ago but never could have I gone beyond the place of Lingtam that is just a half an hour drive. Sometime back, I was at Rongli along with my father to visit my grandfather cardamom field at Pasting. Since grandfather was staying at Pasting for couple of week so we were four to visit him, kaka, nini, father and myself. There was a drive till the small bridge near the Lingtam. Thereafter there was a walk for half an hour across the jungle and finally we reached our destination. After taking rest grandfather took four of us to show the c...
