TB Pradhan, former Wireless Inspector, and KK Pradhan, former Policeman, Singtam Police Station were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour on the occasion. Schoolboys Pintu Gupta and Aaron Pradhan won the Shantinagar Open Men’s Doubles Badminton Tournament- 2018. They defeated Bishal Pradhan and Yowan Lepcha in a close match. Nandu Dutraj defeated Krishna Chettri in the Veteran Singles Exhibition match. Similarly in the other badminton exhibition match, the pair of Cashily Ayemi & Tovini Ahomi defeated Priyanka Rai & Sujata Bagdas to lift the Women’s Doubles Badminton trophy.
