GANGTOK, June 6: Nayuma Television, which turns six today, decided to celebrate the occasion by taking part in some philanthropy work. The paediatric ward at the STNM Hospital here has been gifted with a 35 litre geyser that was installed in its kitchen. The team of Nayuma Television, headed by Roshan Rai, Managing Director, Gajendra Ghaley, General Manager and others handed over the geyser to the Medical Superintendent, STNM, RL Sharma and Additional Medical Superintendent V. Shingi. The team also distributed chocolates and sweets to the children in the paediatric ward. Talking to SIKKIM EXPRESS, Mr. Rai said since last year, Nayuma Television has been celebrating their anniversary by doing some social works. A massive plantation drive was also carried out by the Nayuma family last year at the vicinity of the MLA hostel located here at the Tibet Road.
