August 25, Singtam : Neelam Tamang, from Chisopani, East Sikkim wins State Level Online Patriotic Song Competition 2021 organized by 75 th   Independence Day Celebration Committee, Sang in association with Saphal Films held at Community Hall, Sang. Sajan Baraily and Krishna Dhungel both from Uttaray, East Sikkim and Bermoik Namphing, South Sikkim received 1st and 2nd Runner-Up trophies respectively. The function was started with limited audiences graced by the presence of Sonam Tshering Venchungpa, MLA Martam Rumtek Constituency as the Chief Guest. Blen Tshering Targain, Joint Director, Forest Department was the Guest of Honour of the day. Sunita Rai of Rolep, Gnathang Machong Constituency won the title of "The Voice of Lampokhari Season - 4.  Karna Bdr Rai from Lokdara Chujachen became 1st Runne rs-up and Lazong Bhutia from Aritar Chujachen became 2nd Runners-up respectively out of Top Four contestants.

NAMCHI , December 20 : Eleven contestants have been shortlisted for the quarter-final of the Swar Sikkim Bal Tara competition to be held tomorrow here at the Community Hall .  In the first audition of the talent hunt show held today, at least 60 children had participated. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Padmashree Sanu Lama as the chief guest.
