Former Headmaster Mahesh Dahal felicitated at Chisopani JHS IDay

73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Sakyong Chisopani JHS . The highlight of the day was March Past by School students along with a patriotic dance presentation. Action song dance and drill by the junior section were highly appreciated by the crowds.  Mahesh Dahal , former Headmaster of the school was felicitated on the occasion towards the all-around development of the school in his tenure.  TB Rai, a former panchayat was the Chief Guest of the day while Ramesh Gurung,  Ward Panchayat was the Guest of honour. Other guests present on the occasion were PB Tamang, SMC Advisor, SMC President, and others. Stella Subba, former student recited a poem with a social message. In an exhibition football match between the teams of Primary and Upper Primary was won by Primary Team in a penalty shoot-out.

Sakyong Chisopani JHS celebrates nation’s 69th Independence Day

The day-long programs had felicitation ceremonies, inter- school cultural and rural and athletics competitions, kho-kho match, and Open Football final. Central Pandam SSS faces Pachhak SS in Chisopani JHS football final

SINGTAM, AUGUST 12: Central Pandam SSS and Pachhak SS are the two finalist of the 68th Independence Day Inter JHS Level Football Tournament held at Chisopani JHS. Both the team won their respective semi final convincingly.   Central Pandam SSS defeated its rival Singlebong JHS team with eight goals to one. Adarsh Pradhan and Pem Tshering Tamang scored a hat-trick each in the match. It was the second hat-trick for Pem Tshering Tamang taking his goal tally to six goals; he is the highest goal scorer of the tournament so far. Similarly Pachhak SS defeated the host school Chisopani JHS with seven goals to nil. Kamal Rai scored a hat-trick for his Pachak SS team. PB Tamang, SMC President and Lobang Bhutia, former Graduate teacher at Chisopani JHS were the Chief Guest of the two matches. Am Prasad Sharma, former Area MLA will the Chief Guest on the final match of the tournament.

Central Pandam SSS conquers Singlebong JHS 8-1

SINGTAM, AUGUST 12: Adarsh Pradhan and Pem Tshering Tamang scored a hat-trick each to let their school team reach the final of the 68 th Independence Day Inter JHS Level Football Tournament held at Chisopani JHS. The team of Central Pandam SSS defeated its rival Singlebong JHS team with eight goals to one. Aashish Tamang and Saran Gurung added a goal each for the Central Pandam SSS team while Surendra Rai scored the lone goal for Singlebong JHS. It was the second hat-trick for Pem Tshering Tamang taking his goal tally to six goals; he is the highest goal scorer of the tournament so far. Central Pandam SSS becomes the first team to reach the final and they will be meeting the winning team between Chisopani JHS and Pachhak SS

Brother duo helps Chisopani JHS defeat Bright Life Academy 7 - 0

SINGTAM, AUGUST 11: Brother duo of Nikhil Rai and Neeraj Rai shared five goals as Chisopani JHS went on to score seven goals to nil against Bright Life Academy in the 68 th Independence Day Inter school JHS Level Football Tournament held at Chisopani JHS. Karan Gurung scored the first goal for his team thereafter it was the brother duo that dominated the football field. Nikhil Rai went on to score a hat-trick with his three goal while his younger brother Neeraj Rai coming as a substitute added two goals for his school team. The other goal was scored Lakpa Tamang. The opponent team tried their best but could not resist the mighty attacks of the centre forwards of Chisopani JHS’s boys. Pachak SS defeats Singtam SSS 3-2 in Chisopani football tourney

SINGTAM, AUGUST 9:   Arjun Bishwakarma’s two goals went in vain as Pachak SS’s boys defeated the team of Singtam SSS three goals to one in the 68 th Independence Day Inter school JHS Level Football Tournament held at Chisopani JHS. In a squarely contested football match, Lal Singh Rai from Pachak SS took scored in the second minute of the game, thus making the fastest goal of the tournament.   Singtam SSS gave them a good fight and equaled the score line in the middle of the first half through Arjun Bishwakarma but Kamal Rai ended their joy scoring from Pachak SS the next minute. Phipraj Rai extended the score for Pachak SS towards the end of the first half.   Both the teams had equal opportunity in the second half. Arjun Bishwakarma scored his second goal of the match in the closing end of the match but could not help his team from defeat. Central Pandam SSS defeats Lower Sumin SS in a tie- breaker

SINGTAM, AUGUST 7: Indralal Karki was an unsung hero for his school team of Central Pandam SSS, he brilliantly saved two goals in the tie breaker against Lower Sumin SS. Central Pandam SSS went on to win the watch 4-2 in the penalty shoot out. Ganesh Chettri’s two goals for Lower Sumin SS were not enough at the end. Indralal Karki handy goalkeeping ensured Central Pandam SSS meet Singlebong JHS at the semifinal on August 12. Lower Sumin SS was the better team in the first half leading one goal to nil. They even had the upper hand scoring the second goal in the early minutes of the second half. Pem Tshering Tamang’s two goals for his Central Pandam SSS team were enough to upset Lower Sumin SS momentum and the game ended in a draw at the end of the second half. Pem Tshering Tamang added another goal in a tie breaker thus becoming the first player in the tournament to score a hat-trick.

Singlebong JHS defeats East Point SSS 3 -1

SINGTAM, AUGUST 5: Singlebong JHS defeated East Point SSS, Singtam with three goals to one in the inaugural match of 68 th Independence Day Celebration JHS Level Football Tournament 2014 organized by Chisopani JHS. Boys of Singlebong JHS had the upper hand in the match and went on to score two goals in the first half and added another goal in the second half to take their goal tally to three. EPSS boys gave their best but could only manage a lone goal scored in the first half. Sumendra Rai scored twice; Jiwan Subba added the other goal for Singlebong score while Arya Mangar, the captain of EPSSS netted the lone goal for his team. Bimal Lamichaney, Panchayat President, Sirwani Chisopani GPU was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mahesh Dahal, Headmaster of Chisopani JHS gave the welcome speech. CM Chettri, teacher of the school was the host of the football match.

Chisopani JHS felicitates a choreographer

SINGTAM, AUGUST 26:   A small thanks giving program was organized at Chisopani JHS today to felicitate Geeta Sharma, Choreographer   for her contribution to the school at the recently held 67th Independence Day. Khadas was offered to Geeta Sharma by the school staff. Sharma was also presented an appreciation certificate and a gift. Mahesh Dahal, Headmaster of the school in his brief speech thanked Geeta Sharma for her involvement in the school’s dance activities as well as in the student’s drill that was performed at the school ground on the occasion of 67 th Independence Day. He further said, the public was entertained with the wonderful dance performed by the school students. During her short stay at the school, the students had been benefitted from her dancing lessons, added Dahal.
