  Preparations have been made to operate schools in Sikkim which have been closed for a long time due to the epidemic. The Department of Education has today issued a departmental circular regarding the normal operation of classes 9 to 12 from September 6. Instructions have been issued to the schools through this circular to operate the schools following the health standards related to COVID. After many months, all the people of Sikkim are waiting to hear the melodious sound of the school bell again.

It is not often that you hear of triplets born in Sikkim, and when it happens, it is news. Three girls Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati, named after the great rivers, this triplet was born in the centenary year of the STNM Hospital, Gangtok, on September 27, 2017. Born to the couple Man Bahadhur Tamang and Sapna Tamang from Lingmoo near Yangyang, South Sikkim. Interestingly, her mother told her that the ultrasound report did not mention the triplet. SINGTAM, SEPTEMBER 7:   The seven ICDS of Singtam and its surrounding observed the National Nutrition Week on September 6 at Singtam Mandir Line ICDS.
