20.03.22, Singtam: Sahil Pradhan and Amon Rai, from Badminton Association of Jorethang, lifted the most anticipated title of Men's Doubles at the 1st Singtam Open Badminton Tournament defeating their rival teams of Wangyal Lepcha and Riwaj Rai from Gangtok. More than 125 players from different parts of Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Siliguri have participated in the 1st Singtam Open Badminton Tournament organized by Singtam Badminton Association, held at Indoor Sports Complex, Singtam. The tournament ended today with the finals of all six categories. Winners were awarded trophies, certificates, and cash prizes from the chief guest and other guests. Dr. MK Sharma, Health Minister, and Area MLA was the chief guest of the day.
