SINGTAM, NOVEMBER 4:   Eighteen participants get selected for the Sikkim Newar Guthi State Level Open Talent Hunt Show Season 2 to be held at Manan Kendra, Gangtok on November 9.   The two day program held on the occasion of twenty fifth anniversary of the fornation of Sikkim Newar Guthi will have various events including Bhaju-Meiju Competition, Newari Dance Competition, and other competitions. Different popular artiste will entertain the crowd at Gangtok. Sixty seven participants participated at the semi-final that was held in two rounds. Thirty two participants were selected after the first round and on the next round Top 18 candidates were finalised for the grand finale. Participants from different corner of the state gave their best performances that were enjoyed by the gathered audiences. SINGTAM, OCTOBER 20 :  The third audition of the Sikkim Newar Guthi State Level Open Talent Hunt Show Season 2 held at Singtam on October 19 saw 86 participants getting through to the Quarter final round. More than 170 participants from different parts of Sikkim including participants from Siliguri, Kurseong, Kalimpong and Darjeeling participated at different category of the show. CP Pradhan, a former teacher of Singtam SSS was the Chief Guest of the day. Other distinguished guests included TB Pradhan, former President Rangpo Singtam Zone, Sikkim Newar Guthi, Sushen Pradhan, Secretary, SNG Youth Affair, Binod Pradhan, President, Newa Bhay Bowneykutti. RONGLI,  September 29 :  Season II of State Level Open Talent Hunt Show started in a grand manner at  Community Hall, Rongli. Eighty participants both in solo and in groups participated at the audition. Dancing and singing had the most participants while different individual talents in  painting,  sketch,  rubiks cube solving,  chess,  beat-boxing and acting was also performed. Damber Pradhan, SKM Incharge,  Chujachen Constituency was the Chief Guest of the day.  He appreciated the efforts of the organising committee and shared his best wishes and support in days to come.  A total of 40 participants was selected for the quarter final round to be held at Community Hall,  Singtam on 26th October, 2019.
