09.03.22: Special screening of Anmol Jeewan, a Nepali Short Film was held at Community Hall, Singtam on March 6, 2022. The film was written, produced, and directed by Praja Pradhan under the banner of Shaphal Films. The film was based on human values. International Strength Lifting Gold Medalist Pema Dorjee Bhutia was the Chief Guest of the day. The other highlights of the day were the release of the annual calendar of Face Zylish 2022 S-II from the hand of the Chief Guest and the other guests. Grishmita Sharma,1st Runners-up of the beauty pageant was also present on the occasion.  Similarly, a film poster of Anmol Jeewan was also released by the guests. August 25, Singtam : Neelam Tamang, from Chisopani, East Sikkim wins State Level Online Patriotic Song Competition 2021 organized by 75 th   Independence Day Celebration Committee, Sang in association with Saphal Films held at Community Hall, Sang. Sajan Baraily and Krishna Dhungel both from Uttaray, East Sikkim and Bermoik Namphing, South Sikkim received 1st and 2nd Runner-Up trophies respectively. SINGTAM, JANUARY 24: The shooting of nepali short film ‘Sambandha’ gets completed at locales of Singtam and Mazhitar. The film is produced and directed by Praja Pradhan under his banner Shaphal Films. The short film revolves around an environmental theme. Vinod Sereng, veteran film director from Nepal, cine star Uttam Pradhan, Indian Idol fame Prashant Tamang and famed nepali singer Damber Nepali were present at the Mahurat shoot. The story is by AB Gurung, script by Praja Pradhan, concept by Shital Pradhan and camera work was done by Galchen Bhutia. The actors in main roles are Kishore Dungmali, Aadarsh Pradhan, AB Gurung, Zigmei D Bhutia, Takendra Gurung, Premi Lepcha and two child artists Kasish Sharma and Yojana Chettri

SINGTAM, APRIL 04:   Pawan Chamling , President of Sikkim Democratic Front, officially launched seven short films on  politics  at the Rorathang public meet.  Four of the short films were directed by  Praja Pradhan , a Sang Nazitam-based filmmaker, while the other three ,  titled Sikkim Darpan, were directed by  Uttam Pradhan, a  famed actor from Sikkim. Speaking on the occasion, Praja Pradhan said he is lucky to be part of a successful SDF party, and each of the short films is based on supporting the party that is for the people of Sikkim and for the people of Sikkim. Artists of the shirt films included Dilip Raimajhi, Uttam Pradhan, Praja Pradhan, Ram Sharma and others. The films were shot in different locales of Sikkim, added Pradhan.

GANGTOK, NOVEMBER 7: Praja Pradhan directed ‘Euta Kura’, a short film on “Swachh Bharat Swachh Sikkim” and ‘A New Tourism Destination in Sikkim’ a documentary based on bungee jumping is being screened at Manan Kendra, Gangtok on December 17. The show is organised by Sikkim Newar Guthi Youth Affairs. Pradhan is a popular film personality from Sikkim who had so far been associated with more than 30 Nepali films, documentaries, short films, music videos and others. “Euta Kura- Sikkim Pledge for Swach Bharat Mission” is shot at different parts of Sikkim with performances from local artists as well as popular personalities of Sikkim including Chunilal, Ghimirey, Kishor Dungmali, Gopal Baraily (MLA) and Timoty Rai to name few. SINGTAM, NOVEMBER 22: Praja Pradhan, nepali film artiste from Sikkim has thanked Adarsh Youth Club, Adarsh Goan for successfully organizing a charity show of his Nepali Movie ‘12 Nepali Ek Chihan’ at ATTC Auditorium, Burdang week back. Through a press release, Pradhan has thanked Arun Pradhan, Director and Rabin Shrestha, producer of the film for an opportunity. He further thanked Nepali actor Prem Subba for his role in 12 Nepali Ek Chihan’ pradhan went on to say he had done smaller roles in more than half a dozen nepali films and a un-released hindi film made in Sikkim, Darjeeling and Nepal. ‘12 Nepali Ek Chihan’ is his first film in which he plays one of the major characters. Sikkimese actor Praja Pradhan's starer Nepali movie "12 Nepali Ek Chihan" is all set to have a special show at ATTC Bardang Auditorium Hall on November 8, 2015, on Sunday at 3 pm. The movie is based on a true tragic story of 12 Nepali citizens killed by Iraqi terrorists. Praja Pradhan plays one of the twelve main characters in the movie. Singtam: Much anticipated Nepali film “ Angalo Yo Maya Ko ” made from Sikkim starring Indian Idol winner Prashant Tamang is set for a grand premiere at Vajra on March 31, 2011. The lead actors and actress are busy promoting the film in different places of the state.  Five members of the film units were present at Basibiyalo, a monthly literary meet to promote their film. Singtam: Under Sikkim Green Mission Eurasia Reyukai 28 th Singtam branch conducted a plantation program at Singtam SSS on June 28. The chief guest of the program was PK Pradhan, (Chairman Poultry). The other guest attending the plantation drive were BS Tamang, (RO Singtam Range), A Gurung (BO Singtam Range), Kumar Rai (Chief Advisior), Teachers from Singtam SSS, students, Sunrise Club, local NGOs and others. More than 300 different varieties of seedling were planted along the school premises.
