SINGTAM, APRIL 4: Rongli Puja Committee had organised twenty-four non-stop Akhanda Harikirtan Ramayan Path at Rongli bazaar. The highlight of the two day long Hanuman Jayanti was the kalash yatra that was undertaken from river water collected near GREF Mandir to the puja ceremony pandal. Devotees from nearby regions of Dalapchand, Chujachen, Sisiney, Changeylakha, Rongli bazaar and others were present on the occasion. Bhajan and kirtan was held throughout the night as received in the information. Gajendra Rai was the chief guest on the occasion. Puja Committee members echoed that with such religious belief, peace and prosperity will prevail in the State.

SINGTAM, NOVEMBER 24:  More than twelve members of Shri Satya Sai Bhajan Mandali, Shantinagar visited Old Age Home at Jalipool to celebrate the 88th birth anniversary of Shri Satya Sai Baba, yesterday. They presented Shawls and food items to eight male and three female people out there.  They also handed over a cash donation to the Ishwaramma Samittee, Jalipool. On the second stage of the program; an evening program as held at Sai Mandir, Shantinagar. Chandra Kala Mangar was felicitated with a shawl and a photo frame of Bhagwan Baba. Renu Sharma performed the dweep prajwalan. It was followed by the Gayatari and Sai Gayatri chants.  Burning of 108 lamps was held. HN Sharma, Senior Devotee cut the cake and distributed among the members.  The program ended with the Mangal Aarati and distribution of the Prasad.

SINGTAM, June 17: A day long inspirational workshop for the parents of the Bal Bikas students cum spiritual edification was held yesterday at Karma Thuji Cheoling Gumpa premises, Shantinagar jointly organized by Shantinagar Bhajan Mandali and Toppakhani Bhajan Mandali under Shri Satya Sai Sewa Sangathan, Sikkim. Singtam, June 10: Spiritual cum Motivational camp was organized by Shri Satya Sai Bhajan Mandali, Shantinagar at the premises of Shantinagar Gonpa today. Highlight of the day was the felicitation of Shri HN Sharma and Smt. Renu Sharma, the land donors of the Shantinagar Sai Mandir.   Discussions and talks on the spiritual significance and serving to God in an individual’s life were given emphasis on the day. Bhajan, aarati and ved mantra classes were also done. Distinguished speakers spoke on different topics related to Sri Satya Sai Baba and Bal Bikas. The artistic presentation of Bhajans in a dance form by the Bal Bikash students was highly appreciated.
