Sikkim Newar Guthi is very delighted to congratulate the legendary Olympian, International Boxer, Arjun Awardee Shri Capt. (Retd) Jas Lal Pradhan for announcement of Establishment of a Boxing Academy in his name by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri P.S. Golay (Tamang) at 6th Youth Men’s National Boxing Championship 2023 held at Indoor hall, Palzor Stadium Gangtok.  Words cannot even express our thanks, but Sikkim Newar Guthi is so grateful and sincerely expresses deepest gratitude to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri P.S.Golay for establishing a boxing academy in the name of Shri Jas Lal Pradhan.

Chief Minister PS Tamang to grace the Indra Jatra 2022 festival

25-08-2022, Gangtok: Sikkim Newar Guthi (SNG) team led by Shri Nirmal Kr. Pradhan, President, SNG met the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) at his official residence in Mintokgang, Gangtok. Sikkim Newar Guthi invited the Hon’ble Chief Minister to grace the special occasion and be part of the Indra Jatra 2022 celebration on 9th September 2022 at Gangtok which was heartily accepted by the Hon’ble Chief Minister. Singtam Sakha Guthi appreciates CM’s step on left-out nepali communities

SINGTAM, JANUARY 17: Newa Bhay Bowneykuthi (NBB), Singtam Sakha Guthi under Sikkim Newar Guthi remains grateful towards the State Government of Sikkim for the historic moment at State Legislative Assembly on January 11, 2021.  Sikkim Government led by Chief Minister PS Tamang had passed out a resolution seeking Scheduled Tribe status for left-out Nepali communities i.e. Thami, Bahun-Chettri (Khas), Sanyasi (Jogi), Newar, Kirat Khambu Rai, Kirat-Dewan, Sunuwar, Gurung, Mangar, Bhujel, and Majhi communities in Sikkim Legislative Assembly session. The tribal status resolution is a long-awaited and highly respected approach from the state government. It would benefit the different communities of Sikkim. APRIL 19 GANGTOK:   Sikkim has zero Covid19 positives says SC Gupta, Chief Secretary apprising the efforts of Chief Minister PS Golay. They collected 200 cut flowers and brought to STNM Hospital and appealed to the passer-by to take the flowers and donate the money as per their wish.
