Shri Aditya Tamang is a member of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly from the Soreng-Chakung constituency (2019 - Sikkim Krantikari Morcha). He is the son of Shri Prem Singh Tamang, the 6th Chief Minister of Sikkim.

  Jhulan Goswami is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter. She played 204 ODI matches, taking 255 wickets, and holds the record for taking the most number of wickets in Women's One Day International cricket. 

Nirmal Mangar is a Sikkim State Awardee in the field of journalism (2007). Winner of Ram Patro Memorial Award (2007) and Lagansheel Patrakarita Purushkar (2018). He had been associated with Sikkim Express, The Telegraph, Doordarshan and All India Radio. Presently, he is the Founder and Editor-in-chief of the Sikkim Chronicle, one of the popular online digital news platforms in Sikkim.

Mobin Rai is an Indian footballer from Sikkim, he has captained the Sikkim team at the Santosh Trophy and Fateh Hyderabad AFC in I-League. Rai had shown his football skills in popular national football tournaments including I-League, Durand Cup, and IFA Shield. One of the few players from Sikkim to have won the Sikkim Governor's Gold Cup playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club, Kolkata.

Komal Gurung is a proprietor and founder of Tapashree Dance and Music Academy. She completed three years of course in Indian Classical Dance forms, specializing in Bharat Natyam from Bharatiya Natya Kalalaya, Kolkata. Her academy is affiliated with Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad. She had been to talk shows on the National Radio Channel of Nepal and judged various events at the state and national levels. Her dance studio has represented Sikkim on numerous platforms. She provides free classes to children in Balniketan Orphanage.

Uttam Pradhan ( Uttam Reeshi U. Pradhan ) recipient of Sikkim Kala Samman (2012), the highest Civilian Award conferred by the Government of Sikkim, is an Actor, Producer and Director. Some of his popular films are Darpan Chaya, Piyari Bahini, Letter, Basai and others. Born to Late Durga Kumar Pradhan and Mrs Parbati Pradhan on July 30, 1974, Uttam Pradhan was the winner of Sinolchu Best Male Model of the Year (1995) and Mr Photogenic Colgate Palmolive (1996). Pradhan's debut Nepali film Darpan Chaya (2001) is considered a cult film that broke many box office records. His film 'Basain', was an official entry to Oscar in the year 2006 from Nepal. He had also been felicitated by Her Royal Highness Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah of Nepal. Uttam Pradhan is the founder and Chairman of the Sikkim Film Development Board, Government of Sikkim.

Kedar Nath Gurung is an Indian educationist and writer of Nepalese literature, known for his satirical expressions. He was honoured by the Government of India, in 2012, with the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri.

  Ranju Lamichaney is a former actress who had acted as a lead actress in more than a dozen Nepali films. Her debut film Basain, was an official entry to Oscar in the year 2006 from Nepal. Her claim to fame was the role of 'Sweety" in the popular Nepali TV serial 'Tito Satya'.

  Miss Manita Pradhan , recipient of Sikkim Ratna, the highest civilian award of the Sikkim government had successfully summited Mt. Everest (2021), the highest mountain in the world and Kilimanjaro (2022), the highest mountain in Africa.

PT Gyamtso is a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Sikkim. He was in the Upper House of Parliament during 2000-2006. 

Thank You George for the autograph, another Academy Award winner added to my Oscar collection. George Chakiris made his film debut in 1947 at the age of 12; the name of the film was Song of Love . But it was his role as Bernardo in 1961 cult film West Side Story that gave him both the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. This film won 10 of the 11 nomination at the Oscars. His other popular film were Diamond Head (1962) with Charlton Heston, Bebo's Girl (1964) with Claudia Cardinale, The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967) with Catherine Deneuve, Françoise Dorléac and Gene Kelly, The Big Cube (1969) with Lana Turner, Why Not Stay for Breakfast? 28.09.21: I am very happy to receive three autographs from Shirley Maclaine, Academy Award winners. The two photo card with my name was send by me and to my big surprise I  received a bigger colour autograph with my name. Thank You Madam. Shirley Maclaine is a five time Academy Award nominee and the winner of Best Actress in the 1983’s critically acclaimed comedy classic ‘ Terms of Endearment ’. The film had an eleven Oscar nomination out of which they received five awards. She started her career with Alfred Hitchcock’s in 1955’s  The Trouble with Harry .  AUTOGRAPH It's raining cats and dogs in India. The whole nation is facing the problem of heavy rain leading to floods and water entering the streets and homes in different places. The natural calamity affected in loos of humans, animals, crops and others.  In this tragedy, my mail from Australia from the tennis legend Margaret Court was also got affected. The envelope which had three autographed photos were washed off. I am happy SHE signed me but it hurts to see the condition of the envelope and the photos.

FROM MY COLLECTION Jamling Tenzing Norgay Son of Tenzing Sherpa, the first man to climb Mt. Everest, Jamling Tenzing Norgay also followed his father's foot step when he climbed the world's highest peak in 1996.  The autograph was signed on the cover of 1996 Everest IMAX Filming Expedition. From Wikipedia: Everest is a 70mm American documentary film Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak on Earth located in Himalayan region of Nepal. It was released to IMAX theaters in 1998 about the struggles involved in climbing  The 40-minute film is narrated by Liam Neeson and shot entirely in IMAX format. It includes a vivid description of the training required in order to climb, and the challenges encountered such as avalanches and lack of oxygen. This film had been in production at Everest during the 1996 Everest Disaster, in which a group of mountain climbers were trapped by a blizzard near the summit.
