Deputy Director inaugurates Dipudara Primary School's Digi Lab and Children Park

On April 11, 2023, Dipudara Primary School celebrated the official opening of its new Children's Park and Digi Lab, which the 17000 ft Foundation gifted. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including Shri Dorjee Sherpa, Deputy Director of the Education Department in Khamdong BAC, Shri JB Chettri, Assistant Director, and Miss Himali Lamichaney, CRC, as well as Mrs Somith Lepcha, Vice President of Khamdong GPU members of the SMC, the school's staff, students, and parents. Mahesh Dahal, the school's headmaster, gave a warm welcome speech and expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended the event. He especially thanked the 17000 Feet Foundation for its generosity in making the Children's Park and Digi Lab possible. In his address, the Deputy Director congratulated the school on the new additions and emphasized their positive impact on the school's development. He also assured the school of his support for future improvements.

Ralap SS’s HM congratulates his boys on winning U-14 Inter school ID tourney

SINGTAM, AUGUST 18: Dorjee Sherpa, Headmaster Ralap SS congratulated his school football team for winning the U-14 Independence Day Inter School Football Tournament held at Manjushri Public. Speaking on the school assembly, Headmaster appreciated the efforts of the boys and asked the entire students to work hard and reach the goal. The boys from Ralap SS defeated Manjushri Public School with two goals to zero in the final. Sandeep Subba and Sangay Tamang scored for the winning team. Further, Suman Tamang and Sandeep Subba from Ralap SS also bagged Highest Goal Scorer and the Man of the Match trophy. Yogesh Gurung, sports teacher added it was all about team efforts and I had belief on my boys. Eight schools had participated in the tournament. Dorjee Sherpa, Headmaster Ralap SS through this press release has also praised Wendy Pulger, Manjushri Public School for being a wonderful host.

Chisopani JHS celebrates 68th Independence Day

SINGTAM, AUGUST 16: 68 TH Independence Day Celebration was held in a grand manner at Chisoani JHS, East Sikkim.  Contingent March Past, Inter-School Patriotic Dance Competition, Inter-School JHS Level Football Tournament, and other programs were held on the occasion.  Am Prasad Sharma (former MLA and Advisor Buildings & Housing Department) was the Chief Guest of the day.  Distinguished guests included Nirmal Cintury, Zilla Panchayat, Bimal Lamichaney & Sumitra Gurung, President & Vice President Sirwani Chisopani GPU, Navin Rai, former Zilla Panchayat, Dorjee Sherpa, Headmaster Ralap SS, and others. World Anti-Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Day observed at Ralap SS

SINGTAM, JUNE 26: Awareness programme on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was held at Ralap Secondary School today. The major highlight of the programme was the rally participated by the school staff, students and their parents, Panchayat members and others. Sharmila Chettri, Panchayat Secretary, Ralap Dung Dung GPU was the Chief Guest while Bishal Sunar, Panchayat Ralap Ward was the Special Guest on the occasion. Chisopani JHS and Ralap SS celebrates International Day of Sports for the Development of Peace

SINGTAM, APRIL 7:   Ralap SS defeated Chisopani JHS five goals to one in an exhibition match played at Chisopani JHS today. Both schools were observing the International Day of Sports for the Development of Peace. SINGTAM, DECEMBER 11: Ralap SS, upgraded to Secondary School this year observed an annual day programme for the very first time in their 37 year of its establishments at its school premises on December 10.   The highlight of the day long programme was colourful cultural and sports events followed by prize distribution of academic achievements and Inter House events.
